The GLS 300B garment in the CHEMPROTEX ™ 300 is a single-use Type 1B hermetic chemical protective garment with a one-piece mask seal designed for use with respirators, masks and filters or aeronautical respirators worn outside the protective garment.
This protective suit combines the comfort and flexibility of a lightweight, high-performance chemical protective fabric with an airtight construction. It includes permanently attached anti-static chemical gloves, sock feet, and a lightweight, airtight zipper.
Product Features:
1. Flexible mask seal with a protective external chemical barrier fabric. To achieve an airtight seal, the protective outer fabric should be taped to the mask
2. Lightweight airtight zipper across the shoulder at the back of the suit, with double outer cover plates and hook and loop buckles
3. Optional KEMBLOK ™ chemical gloves welded to sleeves, or additional anti-static KCL BUTOJECT butyl gloves
4. One-piece socks with external splash guards
5. When used in explosive atmospheres, ESD shoes (e.g. HAZMAX ™ ESD boots) must be worn to ensure a grounded conductive path
6. KCL BUTOJECT gloves have a shelf life of five years, and KEMBLOK gloves have a shelf life of ten years.
