GTB ™ Type 1 Airtight Suit, the fully encapsulated GTB is a Type 1A Enhanced Rugged Reusable Airtight Suit that covers the wearer and respirator.
Depending on the specific application and chemical challenge, the protective clothing can be made of a variety of chemically resistant fabrics. Product Features: 1. The protective clothing has a sealed design inside, which is convenient for wearing self-contained respirators (SCBA).
2. The airtight zipper extends from the side of the head to the lower thigh
3. Protection against liquid and gaseous chemicals (Category 1), infectious agents, and chemical warfare agents
4. Airtight locking cuff system for changing gloves
5. Select gloves that match the wetsuit material
6. Optional fixed or removable chemical safety boots or socks
7. Two exhalation valves maintain a comfortable working pressure inside the protective clothing
8. Chemically resistant laminated rigid goggles provide a clear, undistorted field of vision and a wide field of vision
9. The bat sleeve design allows the wearer to remove their hands from the gloves to check the gauges and other equipment inside the protective clothing
10. Adjustable internal support band
The shelf life is fifteen years, and internal stress testing is required every year or after each use
12. Conduct internal stress testing according to ISO 17491-1:2012 (Article 5.3, Method 2) before shipment to confirm that protective clothing is airtight
